What services do you provide?

Monthly bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online: reconciliations, monthly reports, HST-ready records and a year-end package for your tax preparer. We don’t file taxes or run payroll, but we can refer you.

Do I need an accountant?

It’s not required, but working with professionals saves you time, keeps you compliant with the CRA, and helps you make better decisions with your numbers.

What’s the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?

Bookkeeping is the day-to-day recording of transactions. Accounting builds on those records to prepare financial statements, reports, and tax returns.

What will you need from me?

Access to your bank and credit card statements, receipts and invoices, your CRA business number, and any prior-year returns. We’ll send you a simple onboarding checklist.

What are the main deadlines?

Personal tax returns: April 30 (June 15 if self-employed, with any balance owing still due April 30). Corporate tax returns: six months after your fiscal year-end. GST/HST returns: depends on your filing period. See canada.ca for current CRA dates.

When must I register for HST?

Once your taxable sales pass $30,000 over four consecutive calendar quarters. You can also register voluntarily to claim input tax credits.

Do you work with businesses outside my city?

Yes. We work virtually with small businesses across Ontario.

How much do your services cost?

Our plan is $199/month + HST for up to 40 transactions. Larger businesses get a Custom quote after a free consultation.

Can I switch from my current bookkeeper or accountant?

Absolutely. We’ll handle the transition, from getting access to your QuickBooks file to picking up where your previous provider left off.

How quickly do you turn around monthly work?

Monthly bookkeeping is usually completed within 7 business days of receiving complete information.
